09 Sep Online Economic Profile Population Data Update
REMPLAN public access economic profiles have now been updated with the latest estimated resident population (ERP) data sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
Approximately two years after the Census when all supplementary datasets are available, a ‘final rebased’ estimate is prepared for each region by the ABS. Final rebased population estimates for Australia’s regions for years up to and including 2012 were released by the ABS on 30 August 2013. All REMPLAN public access economic profiles have now been updated to present this latest ERP data.
To access ERP data via the economic profiles select the ‘Trends’ tab towards the top tight of the screen, then select ‘Population’ from the sub-menu. Click on the image below to view a live example:
