21 Jun REMPLAN Tourism Data Update June 2013
We are pleased to advise that REMPLAN tourism data has been updated following the release of:
Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)
2011-12 Tourism Satellite Account (TSA)
This release updates our understanding of the role of tourism in the economy and the relative industry sector contributions to Australia’s tourism product output. In this latest release we observe that the proportionate contribution of accommodation & food services has decreased while tourism related transport output (gross revenue) has increased. Our clients’ region-specific REMPLAN tourism estimates reflect these changes.
For subscribers: to access your new tourism data go to: www.remplanlogin.com.au, then
select your June 2013 REMFile under the ‘Regions’ tab.
New to REMPLAN? Please follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to www.remplanlogin.com.au
Step 2. Click on the ‘Log in’ button located in the left pane.
Step 3. Click on the ‘New User?’ link and complete the form using your Client ID and
your work e-mail address.
Step 4. Once completed you will receive an email with your log in details and a link to
access REMPLAN.
Public Data
Many councils and economic development agencies across Australia maintain a public access REMPLAN economic profile, and these have also been updated with the new tourism data.
