At the recent Economic Development Australia National Conference in Adelaide the team at Compelling Economic presented the first operational example of the new REMPLAN public access online economic profile.   Auburn City Council has been our partner in developing the inaugural public access profile to inform businesses, potential investors, prospective new residents, researchers, students and media organisations.
The REMPLAN economic profiles detail industry contributions to employment, output, wages and salaries, exports, imports and value added. The profiles provide valuable insights into the region’s workforce, highlight opportunities for import replacement and capture the value of tourism for the local economy.
Identify key local industries
The profiles incorporate dynamic thematic mapping, time series analysis, building statistics and economic indicators.

The REMPLAN Online Economic Profiles are offered as part of the REMPLAN Economic Development Practitioner (EDP) Package at no additional charge (www.remplan.com.au/products/packages/)   Under this package subscribers also have ‘staff only’ access to REMPLAN’s higher levels of industry detail and economic impact modelling.  The EDP package includes:
