Economic Development Australia (VIC) Conference 29th March 2012

REMPLAN is excited to announce that we will be launching our new REMPLAN economy online profile at the upcoming EDA (VIC) Conference.

The theme for the conference is : Moving & Growing Population: Planes, Trains & Automobiles and it will be held at the Manningham Civic Centre, Manningham on Thursday 29th March.

We look forward to a great line up of speakers and always welcome the opportunity to meet with conference participants. We value your feedback, so feel free to visit the REMPLAN stand.
At the conference, we will have live economy online profile sites that you can explore. Auburn City Council, our partner in developing the public access online profile will soon unveil their profile.
Below are screenshots of some of the data that is available in the online profile:
REMPLAN economy profile is an ideal marketing tool for your region:
  • Integrated and automatically updated  public access economic profiles to inform a range of stakeholders
  • Engaging tool for attracting investment in your region
  • Easy to implement – the profile page is linked to your website and incorporates your own branding
  • Incorporates engaging economic data,  dynamic thematic mapping, time series analysis, building statistics and economic indicators
REMPLAN Online Economic Profiles are automatically updated public-access online economic profiles  servicing a range of stakeholders. The Online Economic Profile can be used to inform local businesses, potential investors, prospective new residents, researchers, students and media organisations.
REMPLAN Online Economic Profiles detail industry contributions to employment, output, wages and salaries, exports, imports and value added. The profiles provide valuable insights into the region’s workforce, highlight opportunities for import replacement and capture the role of tourism in the local economy.
Dynamic thematic mapping is incorporated in the profiles,  displaying the spatial structure of the economy in terms of employment, output, value -added and business locations. Time series analysis, building statistics and economic indicators are also incorporated into the Online Profiles.
Online Profiles are maintained by REMPLAN and data is automatically updated. The Online Profiles are accessible from any computer in any location and are compatible with all commonly used internet browsers. Local governments and economic development agencies who subscribe to the Online Economic Profile can also have “staff only” access to more detailed area-specific economic data and economic impact modelling capability.
To ensure all your communications are presented in a way that conveys a clear and consistent brand, the Online Profile is linked to your website and incorporates your own branding.  The Online Profile will be instantly recognised as belonging to, or coming from, your organisation.
Graphs, charts, tables and maps generated by REMPLAN economy profile, can be saved, emailed or shared with others via social media.  Convenient links to Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Google+ are included.
