02 Oct Online Economic Profile Unemployment Rate Update
REMPLAN online economic profiles have been updated following recent releases of unemployment rates and building approvals data.
1. Unemployment Rates
All public access REMPLAN economic profiles have now been updated with the latest area-specific unemployment rates (June quarter 2013). These estimates are sourced from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations’ (DEEWR) Small Area Labour Markets (SALM) datasets.
To access unemployment rate data via the economic profiles select the ‘Trends’ tab towards the top tight of the screen, then select ‘Unemployment’ from the sub-menu. Click on the image below to view a live example:
2. Building Approvals
REMPLAN public access economic profiles have now been updated with the latest building approvals data (2012-13) sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
Please note that due to insufficient information the ABS has not updated non-residential building approval data for Western Australia and Northern Territory .
To access building approval data via the economic profiles select the ‘Trends’ tab towards the top tight of the screen, then select ‘Building Approvals’ from the sub-menu. Click on the image below to view a live example:
